The data collected as part of the PPNE survey highlights a worrying reality, namely that the cost of healthy food is becoming an increasingly significant expense for households in the Estrie region. In an inflationary context, food, a compressible expense, is often compromised in household budgets. This can have a significant impact on the health and well-being of the population. Brome-Missisquoi is the second region in the Eastern Townships where the cost of eating properly is rising the fastest. Thanks to the PPNE profile, appropriate courses of action for urban and rural areas are presented.
