Support and workshop training

The CDC de Brome-Missisquoi supports community development by providing personalized support to community organizations and citizen groups. It also develops a regular offering of training courses designed by and for its members. These training courses are intended to be a window onto evolving practices and issues.

Information and promotion

Whether through its regular newsletter, social media posts, or promotional and visibility initiatives, sharing information allows the community sector to stay connected and also promotes greater recognition.

Consultation and partnership

The CDC supports collaborative efforts between community organizations and other political, institutional, and socioeconomic stakeholders with the goal of strengthening a robust social development network. Specifically, this involves pooling our resources to address social issues that are prioritized in the Brome-Missisquoi RCM.

Representation

As an actor with a democratic mandate from its members, the CDC of Brome-Missisquoi speaks on their behalf in various community, institutional, sociopolitical, and political forums. Working primarily at the local and regional levels (municipalities and the territory of the MRC of Brome-Missisquoi), the CDC is also involved in regional (Estrie) and national forums (National Table of CDCs).
